Dear Parents and Students,
The nationally-ranked Mira Costa Model United Nations program invites you to take part in this year's informational presentation and tour at our annual conference, Los Angeles Invitational Model United Nations (LAIMUN)! We strive to make LAIMUN an engaging experience for everyone and hope to provide an inviting platform for delegates to be their most creative selves!
Our program is thrilled to welcome you to the world of MUN, and we can’t wait to introduce you to a new side of debate, where delegates simulate United Nations discussions about global affairs, diplomacy, and conflict resolution. Through MUN, students will improve their public speaking, research, and debate skills while competing on a local, national, and international scale! The purpose of holding LAIMUN Tours is to introduce parents and students to the Mira Costa MUN Program and its reputable prestige, while encouraging incoming Costa students to be a part of this experience.
We encourage you to join us for our presentation during the LAIMUN conference on either Saturday, December 7th or Sunday, December 8th. We will run through the ins and outs of MUN, our favorite elements of the program, and will hold a question-and-answer session. After the presentation, we will take you on a tour, so you can see delegates in committee! Spots are filling up, so click below to reserve your spot!
We look forward to seeing you on our tour and expanding our MUN community!
